New Work. In progress.
The series includes paintings, drawings and prints expressing the inner working of the body,
the network of the human being.
I wonder sometimes about technology and its advances, which I appreciate and
use, as it allows us much in our current life. I suspect it also disconnects us in
subtle ways. I wonder if relationships with machines are more easily continued than
direct relationship with people, with oneself, with life.
The work is, as usual, influenced by my interest in the physical, emotional
and spiritual aspects of being human. These works are
meditations on connection.
The work is slow to create. And meditative. I can only
hope to reproduce this sort of experience for the viewer as he/she looks upon the
work.
